Deer Crossing the Art Farm:
Pieces of a Forest
For this poster (at left), I used a map of Lower Gibsons as the trunk of the tree element. I braided pieces of the map together, resulting in a dimensional, sinewy feel, akin to a tree trunk. The imagery and background texture were real paper and digitally constructed for the design of the poster.
The Foreshore Project was a kids’ workshop exploring Gibsons shoreline and learning about its importance as a natural asset.
I designed this poster from a hand-constructed, paper illustration using “old” paper materials and sand.
